Consignment Note Form Has Been Updated
The Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories, by Order No. 1332 “On Approval of the Rules for the Transportation of Goods by Road in Ukraine”, approved the updated form of the consignment note. The document entered into force on January 3, 2025.
The Ministry of Development established the mandatory details that must be included in the consignment note:
• date and place of compilation;
• consignor;
• consignee;
• road carrier;
• information about the vehicle;
• loading and unloading points.
The updated consignment note form also contains the following mandatory details:
• place of compilation;
• information about the vehicle: length/height/width, total weight of the vehicle with cargo;
• loading and unloading points.
In the fields “Consignor/Road Carrier/Consignee” it is now necessary to enter not only the name of the legal entity or the full name of an individual, but also more detailed information – the taxpayer code according to the Unified State Register of Individual Taxpayers or tax number.
The changes apply to both the paper and electronic forms of the consignment note.
The following changes have been made to the Rules for the Transportation of Goods by Road in Ukraine:
• the requirements for securing the cargo have been fixed;
• the requirement for the mandatory presence of a sanitary passport for the vehicle has been eliminated.
