EU List of Non-Cooperative Tax Jurisdictions Has Been Updated
Antigua and Barbuda was removed from the list of jurisdictions not cooperating with the EU in tax matters on October 8 following a review by the Global Forum on Tax Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes.
This jurisdiction was removed from Annex I (list of non-cooperative jurisdictions for tax purposes) after the Global Forum on Tax Transparency and Information Exchange decided to carry out an additional review on the exchange of information at the country’s request. Until the conclusion of the review, Antigua and Barbuda will remain in Annex II (jurisdictions committed to cooperating for tax purposes).
This brings the current number of non-cooperative jurisdictions to 11: American Samoa, Anguilla, Fiji, Guam, Palau, Panama, Russian Federation, Samoa, Trinidad and Tobago, US Virgin Islands, Vanuatu.
