Poland Reduces Penalty Rates for Late Tax Payments

The Polish Ministry of Finance, by Decree No. 269 of March 6, announced new penalty rates for late tax payments:
1) penalty rate for late tax payment is 10.5% of the amount of the debt per annum (previously – 11%);
2) reduced penalty rate for late tax payment is 5.25% of the amount of the debt per annum (previously – 5.5%);
3) increased penalty rate for late tax payment is 15.75% of the amount of the debt per annum (previously – 16.5%).
